Lens Reviews: Nikon 18-140mm and Tamron 70-300mm

Two affordable lenses that often follow a first Nikon DSLR, reviewed from several angles. The Nikon 18-140mm DX VR is tested as an all-day travel zoom, on a camping trip and in side-by-side comparisons. The Tamron 70-300mm, in its budget LD Macro and stabilised VC USD forms, is put through sharpness, autofocus and close-focus tests with sample images, so you know what to expect before buying.
